Back in 2004 when Saban left us for the NFL, at least we could take comfort in the fact that he left LSU for what he clearly considered his dream gig in the NFL.

Can't imagine being left for a lateral move...

Other than that...

this thread is about basketball head coach Anthony Grant

The state of the program, our inept offense, poor in game coaching, and a coach that looks like he doesn't care on the bench. It really is time for him to go, I do hope we hold onto the current recruits though, it's a great class.

at least he always had a stout D

It's like some of these guys sit on their computer hitting refresh waiting for a Bama made thread to immediately shite all over

At least some of us who want Tuscaloosa to burn read the thread and can appreciate the humor

Funny how Chip Brown was just on the Roundtable here in B'ham and said Saban doesn't have a blank check, as many UT and other fans have stated and he feels like the ceiling is $7 mil per year. Well within UA's pocketbook.

So, by the way Texas has handled one of their most successful coaches and the ending of his tenure, why would Saban want to step into that quagmire when he can get the same money from Bama?

This isn't the thread for this but I'll answer this for you. IF THE RUMORS ARE TRUE, UT is offering 1% of the LHN plus some oil leases upon retirement. And UT is bailing him out of some major debt. I don't think Bama can touch any of that.

At least we both get to trot out our shiny new QBs in the bowl game so we can start salivating over our 2014 National Titles earlier

What gave it away...the actual words of his post?

I've just wanted to poke these guys about Saban considering a lateral move...and it's always fun to post Gervais gifs. I hijacked this stupid thread to do it.

I wouldn't blame Grant for taking that.

Because one guy isn't hearing it and others are doesn't mean the one guy is correct. Jim Trotter from Sports Illustrated scoffed at the $100 mil then tweeted:

just spoke to someone who would know. didn't hesitate when asked if texas would pay $100M for saban. "yes," he said.

You hooked a few. Weak troll but a troll nonetheless, even if it was a response to the Saban ordeal

I'll give you 2.5/10
