I just won’t accept Scott Woodward settling on a hire

I’ll be damned if Woodward is just going to settle on this hire. This is what Woodward has waited his whole life for this moment. Remember Bama’s athletic director got rejected by Saban 3-4 times and he never let up. I expect Woodward to do the same on whoever that guy is.

Woodward should just refuse to hire anyone until he gets one of his top 2 even if that means he has to coach the team next year and the following

Definitely! Woodward is not the guy to fire a head coach of his greatest money maker and then say, “ok, now who we got?”
He started his list when he got hired. He narrowed his list down to 3 when we opened the season with a loss to Miss State in 20. He had his guy confirmed when we lost to UCLA.

No way Woodward is settling. I think he has laid the groundwork before firing CEO with his top candidates. He is not going to waste this opportunity.
If it is somebody like Aranda or Napier, it has to be difficult to determine if their HC ability and recruiting ability is going to make a long successful program. Like LSU hiring Saban, was that luck or was there something there they spotted with Saban to know that he can be successful at LSU. I hope Woodward has that insight and ability.
Hiring Jimbo at A&M makes me a little nervous about Woodward, because FSU was mediocre but if you gave him a talented QB he could win. Plus he was a fairly hot name and everybody knew he wanted out at FSU.

You can’t hang Jimbo on Woodward
A&M wanted Jimbo and told Woodward to go get him at all cost and that’s exactly what he did. Wasn’t a coaching search at all for A&M. He was green lighted to throw the bank and snag Jimbo and he accomplished the goal

Woodward will settle for who accepts the job when offered.
Has everybody followed the many coaching searches in
college football the last few years.TX,FLA,FLA.ST,AUB,
ARK. ETC.None of them hit what you would call a homerun.
Evan ALA lucked into Saban (thank you Skip).They all
seemed to be on their 2nd tear coaches.
I hope SW can pull a coup but history dictates otherwise.
I hope whomever gets the job that LSU fans get behind him
and get rid of all the negativity which tiger fans are
