Agree with the OP. Ensminger didn’t even want the damn job.

What kind of message does it send when we fire Miles only to hire a coach no one else wanted. Then we give him a buyout of $12m, then fire an OC and give the job to the one guy who publically said he didn’t want it.

Amazing!

Yeah this narrative is total BS.

"Duty," "honor," that stuff comes cheap or at low cost. If you are more than doubling your salary, then you want and are taking a job that you think you will perform at a high level for.

I feel bad for him all the way up until the time he signs the contract.

The subtle thing some people are overlooking is that LSU not only didn't hire a proven coach , they didn't even interview one. That is downright ignorant and negligent and should result in several people being show the door.
