It's 2021. Him being black is a positive no matter how you spin it, so his skin color wouldn't anger this honky in the least.
What would piss me off is that we hired a coach with a 14-12 career record. He did do very well as an SEC assistant at both Bama and UGA, so he might be the next Kirby Smart or Nick Saban...or Will Muschamp or Derek Dooley.
Bottom line, its far too early in his career to tell and LSU can't afford to miss this hire, or wait for him to develop. I personally think he is going to be a damn good coach moving forward, but I wouldn't risk it when you compare him to other candidates on the board.

I was fully expecting a Tate forced Woke Shite Show in the coaching search, but it hasn't materialized as of yet.

BTW, I still think the "Best Fit" for LSU at the current time is not the most popular choice or the most experienced or has the most skins on the wall.
I stated this last year. It's William "Baby Saban" Napier.
I would like Napier, teamed with Aranda even more, but doubt if that will happen.
BN makes 2M at Lafayette Junior College, but would he accept an OC/AHC position at LSU for 3M? Probably not, so just bring him in as HC.
Many of us (All the sane ones, the ones that aren't 14 and the ones that aren't alcoholics) agree that he just has the "It" factor.
Anybody that can bring the doormat Ramblin Acadians to the Top 20 knows what the frick they're doing!.
Better grab him now before somebody else does......
