I actually think Crowton will be very good at Maryland

His wide open offense and misdirection works in leagues that aren't named the SEC. I really do hope Crowton does well for them. He's a nice guy and I will always be appreciative of 07. Thanks for the memories.

What misdirection that was one of my biggest complaints with him it was either speed sweeps, opitions, or up the gut. He never ran any counters, or inside traps plays. Or draw plays nor could we run a effective screen to a back.

Actually, his track record indicates that he can be exceptionally good in the first two years.

Growing up in Ruston when he was the head coach at Tech, his offense was a lot of fun to watch. He threw it 80-90% of the time and bubble screen the heck out of ya. From '97-'99, he finished 3rd (496 yards per game) 2nd (540 yards per game), and 4th (471 yards per game) in the nation in total offense. He had to throw it 60+ times a game and had to out score the other team because he had no defense.

There is just no comparing the WAC to the SEC man come on. Or Tech too LSU.
