That would be a slam dunk hire if it happens.

Back to having 20 OM players from Louisiana every year.

That staff needs a Larry Porter bad...somone who can recruit, but overall the staff's lack of SEC coaching experience spells more years of Nutt ineptitude...

Why the Hell do you take the time to know who Ole Miss is hiring? After Chizik's staff has been together three years at Auburn, I still don't know half of who is on that staff.

Y'all can trash the guy all you want, but I think he will do well in Oxford. I started watching the opening lines of his press conference, only to watch the entire thing. He's a guy I would play for. Very inspiring.

Houston Nutt always screamed "snake oil salesmen". Though his epic fall in Oxford outdid my expectations of how long his tenure would last.

What else would a 30+ year old man do with his free time besides jack off to high school football players' pictures, study the rivals newly hired staff, make fake twitter accounts about OM players and coaches, stay on message boards constantly posting the same recycled homer garbage over and over, and follow every online move of a 40+ year old fellow State homer?

He also has an autographed samurai sword with Randy Jackson's signature on it... because he ran into Randy Jackson and all he had on him was a samurai sword, and you're not gonna just NOT get Randy Jackson's signature.

That is pretty harsh. I don't think he is 30.

This is why Brewer hasnt been offically hired. Freeze has already said that he will call the plays so the OC will be more of a positions coach/ recruiter so we've obviously gone after Wilson and Porter. If we dont get either we're going to go after the top QB coach we can land and then if we strike out we will make Brewer OC. Porter is a real possibility

No not really. All of Nutt's assistants have plenty of SEC experience. And we have recruiters on board, but I agree we do need that homerun hire to put us over the edge in recruiting.

I have never heard a HDN speach that inspired me or pumped me up. They all make me laugh. I dont know where he got this sterotype of being a great motivator, maybe its because they always underperform, so when they actually play to their potential its such a suprise, I dont know.
