Sarcasm noted.

In truth, Jesus would've more likely preferred breaking bread with Freeze (while encouraging him to be a better man, of course) than the Pharisees and Sadduccees than run the NCAA or other people on here who judge themselves morally superior to Freeze.

And if Freeze is good enough for Jesus, he's good enough for me.

Thank you.

People want so desperately to see others fall and stay down. They want to call someone a hypocrite. I don't get it. Freeze has said he can't say he is sorry enough. He has owned all of it. Freeze has never been a guy to condemn others. He is still human. We make mistakes, even those who follow Christ. It's all the more reason they lean on their faith. He got caught up with big boy SEC football and let it get to his head. Not to make excuses for him, but he was at Ole Miss. Kind of a hard sell and place to be. I tease, but I believe he is genuinely remorseful for his actions. I also believe he is actually a safer hire, because of his mistakes. If someone disagrees then I also understand that. I just can't see him making those mistakes again. He has been so humbled by it all.

I watched him consult his QB after his final interception that sealed their fate yesterday and it was really impressive to see. I believe his players have so much respect for how he handles them. I think people who don't care for Freeze should watch some of his interviews while at Liberty on youtube. He recognizes there will always be a group of people that won't ever forgive him. He understands this, but he has to move on with his life.

Freeze is my #1 choice for multiple reasons. He is a great overall HC. He is a great offensive mind. He is an elite QB coach. However, I am okay with not getting Freeze. Only because I believe there will always be a group of people that hate him or the idea of him.

I think Freeze and Matt Rhule are our best options by a wide margin. Not saying we could get either but both coaches have proven they can turn a program around very quickly.

I've said this alot on here, and I'll keep saying it until LSU makes a hire. Hugh made mistakes. He owned them. Very publicly. He's a very good man. I don't know this from what I see on TV or social media. I know this from my personal experience and interactions as his friend. His players and coaches love him. Parents love him. And it's time to move past his mistakes. Someone is going to give him an opportunity, and I hope it's us. He would love to be our head coach. This will likely be his last season at Liberty. This is the window. I have faith that Scott will make the best decision for the program. I'm hopeful that Danny Hugh Freeze is included in those plans. It would be an incredible move for both parties.

He’s said “explain to me why you want to hire Hugh Freeze.”

It’s not about desperation, but some people do believe in forgiveness.

I understand you are likely bitter, because you are an Ole Miss fan. That is very understandable. At the same time, I think if I was an Ole Miss fan I would still feel like he did help make us relevant again. I don’t think I would stay bitter at him.

He has publicly stated he got caught up in success and made mistakes. He has apologized repeatedly for those mistakes. He appears sincerely remorseful. I have watched several of his interviews since he took over Liberty. He doesn’t sugar coat anything when he speaks to recruits and their families. He believes they actually respect him for his 100% honesty for what went down. I would say that is still owning it to this very day.
