dude is 16-17 in 3 years and yeah, yeah i know hes hot and looks like Ryan Gosslin and can spin a football on his finger, but still, this program was a top 20 program every year under Leach and even Tubberville had them pretty decent

Hes a legend in Lubbock so i know they are giving him extra time, but they look like dogshit. whats his signature win in 3 years?

They gave him a huge extension before last year. He's legacy. He'll be there probably as long as he wants.

If Texas Tech fires him, we would gladly take him back as offensive coordinator.

Kingsbury is safe and they should keep him for a few years to see what kind of progress he can make there.

I just think it's funny that he's so safe and never gets criticized but other guys like Charlie strong and Butch Davis and such get killed for crap like that

His agent should be pushing him for the USC job. He'd be a megastar in LA.

Tubs was 20-17 in 3 years there. Not much difference.

Leach was an anamoly. Dude is a great coach who took advantage of Texas talent.

KK at Tech is like if Manning was coaching at Tennessee.

He won't be fired.

Unless they find another Tech alumni, they will have to settle on mediocre hires, retreads. Taco tech is not a destination by any coach, except one coming back to coach is Alma mater.

They got rid of their best Head Coach and got lucky kingsbury wanted to come back home.

There's nothing "great" about his coaching, but it's Texas Tech. Spike Dykes is a legend there and he was a 6-5 machine.

As was stated earlier, Leach was an anomaly for that program and even he only had one 10-win season IIRC.
