Wilcox's new deal (that he signed in August) gets him up to $800K on the tail end. His next deal will likely take him over $1M.

I understand that if you wanna keep them you have to pay them, but doesn't it seem like Coord pay has skyrocketed in 2 years. It seems like yesterday 400-500k was BIG money for an OC.

If LSU wins the national championship, I would say 800K would be reasonable. That's a 100K pay raise and would make him the highest paid assistant assuming Malzahn and Smart move on to head coaching gigs.
