The rest of the SEC West is getting better since the end of the 2011 campaign while LSU is declining. Fingers are crossed that the next season will turn things around and manage to beat the conference opponents that we are currently losing to.
I dont really agree, Ole Miss, not really, they always put in a decent season here and there and usually with a sr qb. Auburn, well they were worse this year, tamu was worse this year. Only team that improved really was state. Arkansas has been pretty bad since 2011, same with UF.

How many people see Les taking the Michigan job? quote: I know u love stats and numbers so I have a question. If in the next two years LSU has a better record than 2014 will you declare that LSU is on the incline? Because W's and L's is the only thing that matters right? If you're the AD at Michigan or any other school for that matter, do you offer a guy 6 to 8M a year after a four and potentially five loss season that had his team finish second to last in his own division? The answer is that no one with any common sense does this. The stats do not lie. While I personally think we kick the shite out of Notre Dame next Tuesday, the possibility exists that we could lose. This would mean a five loss season. Again, the stats do not lie.
Thanks for your political agenda answer but that is not what I asked. You are right, stats do not lie. Once again, if the next two years LSU has a better Win/Loss record will you say we are on the incline?

I can agree with this for the most part. Maybe it is more indicative of how much LSU has regressed. The only team we finished above in the West beat our asses like a drum in November and was not a team anyone wanted to play at the end of the season.

I think TAF better be ready with a new coach if he does go. Will be horrible timing.
I have been told that CLM is staying at LSU by someone I trust within the program. I'll go with this for now but, honestly, who really knows.

Better than the 8-4 record of 2014? If this is what you are asking, then my reply is that anything less than a 2 loss season is inexcusable at LSU in this current era.
I agree wholeheartedly that Coach Miles has been a huge part of the current expectations placed upon his organization. He is owed the support of the fan base and school to right the ship.

ok, thanks. I don't care if you like Miles or not. I don't like everything he does either, but you have an obvious agenda. Stats only matter when they say what you want them to say. LSU could go 10-2 for two straight years and you would dig for a "statistic" to show that Miles is not good enough.
Now we know who you are, thanks.

This current era? You mean the era of the SEC West being the toughest in its history? That era? But you think LSU should win ATLEAST 11 games a year or its a failure.
Seems reasonable

I do. But probably just fantasizing.

In your scenario he would leave. Michigan offers 6 million. Even Joe Alleva isn't dumb enough to match that... I hope.
At that point Miles almost has to go.

IF Michigan offers Les Miles... he's gone.

I wish he would either take the UM job or stop being so stubborn, make some adjustments/adapt a little, and learn how to learn from mistakes.
So many problems have been systemic from year to year but corrections just aren't made.

Either they really do lie, or you're just an idiot who doesn't read numburs vury weyell. You keep posting this second to last crap. While our placement wasn't very good, your statement is an outright lie you keep using to try to further your agenda.

That dude is a total moron
firs to think harbaugh takes the UM gig
but if he doesn't I think Les stays. That's probably more me wanting him to stay than anything though

For the record, I don't think Miles is leaving LSU
Miles has displayed that he can maintain the program long-term, not just make a 3 yr run. He's shown that he has the integrity to boot his star player (Perilloux) despite the risk it put him in personally, and then he rebuilt the team and made another run. Has the game passed him by? Well, his teams have put the most players into the NFL, and he continues to bring in the best recruits any school not named Alabama has gotten. And not all recruits are from in-state, either. As for the program declining, LSU is in position to win 9 games this year and then return the vast majority of this team for another 2 years- that, objectively, sounds very stable and promising.
That's exactly the type of guy Michigan (and other big-time programs) would give their right nut for. Problem for them is, I think Miles has his legacy here at LSU. If they had come calling in 2004, he likely chooses them instead. But now, he's built his house, so to speak.
Just my gut feeling

Miles said he was staying at LSU. Coach miles is an honest church going family man.
Would Les Miles lie to tiger fans ?
Of course not.
