re: Honest question, how many Orgeron for HC supporters are now off the bandwagon?

He either gets credit for both wins and losses or the coordinators do. You can't give O credit for the improved offensive display but blame Ensminger for the Bama game.
Keeping recruits. That's it. Honestly, I think that's why we hired him as interim HC. Regardless of wins and losses this year, he'll be able to keep our class for the most part. That's not easy to do when you fire a HC. That's the most important thing right now until the real coach comes in next year.

It would have likely been worse than 31-0 nothing if not for Aranda
Or poor offensive play calling by kiffin as you suggest for lsu's problems on offense.

We had so many short fields to score on and couldn't manage more than a first down (if that). That's just bad offensive play calling and execution plain and simple.
Alabama had the same problem. If it's bad play calling and execution for lsu, it was bad play calling and execution for bama too.

His true test is the next 3 games, win them and he is the HC.

To Alabama? Really?
Arkansas - 30 points on Alabama
Ole Miss - 43 points on Alabama

We got worse in the second half. That means that whatever opportunity we had to move the ball before, Bama had figured it out and shut it down.
Believe it or not, there is game planning going on behind the scenes. Coaches are trying to figure out each other.

I agree. I think ours did planning and adjustments too. I don't think they were playing x-box and watching movies (i.e. nothing as you suggest).
I believe bama had better talent on the offensive side of the ball. Specifically at the qb position and oline. You can coach/scheme all you want, if you don't have the horses, your not going to be successful. If you don't believe that, put bama's coaching staff at vandy and see how they perform.
Hell, they have the best talent in America and produced 10 more points than lsu. They must be almost as bad as the lsu coaches.

I would tend to believe that a decision has already been made and behind the scenes discussions are taking place. O is a viable backup plan is LSU's top level choices can't be delivered. If they wait until after the season to begin serious negotiations, it will probably be too late to aquire a top level coach. Otherwise, O would have already been chosen.

I think ours did planning and adjustments too.
quote:Was Ole Miss and Arkansas? We broke records earlier this year, but couldn't put up more than 125 yards. Were you saying that we had a terrible oline before this week? If so, why? Even though our opponents were not good, could we actually break records with an atrocious oline?

I think Aranda is as smart defensively as they are.

I was about 60% in favor of coach O before Bama game, I am now around 40% in his favor. In my opinion while it was a very hard fought game the offensive woes combined with being shutout was the worst way for him to lose. A 28-24 loss would've looked much better versus 125 yards and shutout 10-0.
