1) I don’t think Brady would want to come back to LSU
2) I don’t think Brian Kelly would hire him even if he did
3) Him getting fired with 5 games left is a huge red flag imo. There’s really no reason to do it before the end of the season that doesn’t make Brady look bad. Rhule doesn’t need a scapegoat yet.

He could have been honest with Brady and told him he’s out at seasons end and this gives him a chance to find a really good landing spot in college with the openings that are out there

I really hope that’s it. I guess we’ll see if he lands back in college or the NFL. Hope he’s successful as long as it’s not at the expense of LSU or the Saints.
