We all mentioned it in passing but he’s brilliant. I haven’t seen a candidate so far that isn’t a huge upgrade over the past 16 years

I fear the recruiting part from aranda. He is definetly not an outgoing guy. A brilliant guy but that's only half the battle in big-time college football.

Aranda brought in some big time players when he was recruiting at LSU. I think his weakness in recruiting is being overblown. I expect any weakness will be made up for in better talent evaluation, player development, and hiring a staff that recruits well. Plus, at LSU he doesn't start from scratch. He already is known in the area, Plus, He just beat UT with a team of mostly 3-star players. He's going to kill it at LSU with 4 and 5-star players.

Man, our fans were crying in 2018 when we gave up 74 points to aTm in 7 OT's...LOL
Aranda was here 4 years and produced a top 10 defense once. I guess time has made everyone forget. Aranda is definitely a good coach but this fanbase is acting as if he's head and shoulders above any other possible candidates....he's not.
Let's not forget in 2019 we had possibly the greatest offense ever....but our D was a liability its why most talking heads questioned just how good LSU was.
