Hey guys- What about Chris Ash as DC

He was DC at OSU when they won the Natti. He really changed their defense. Yea, he sucked at Rutgers as HC, BUT WHO WOULDN'T. Most importantly, he did a really, really, good job at Texas this past year. They improved dramatically in all areas. Him and Herman were coordinators on that OSU 2015 natty team... I really like him...He is as efficient as Freeman. can we get him?????

Arnett or ash is fine.
I really hope they go after arnett. Already proved he is a good dc in the sec.
Arnett learned under rocky long. He can coach linebackers and let corey have the entire secondary back

Would like Chris ash or Arnett. Just don’t hire some f’n used up coach from the nfl or a coach who has never called plays. Already taking that chance with the offense. I don’t have a good feeling about who we’re going to end up with. Especially if it’s a forced minority hire.

Mayo’s being mentioned as a potential DC hire in the NFL this offseason already. He’s even being picked as a near future HC possibility.

For some reason, there has been a blind spot for him. He is not a flawless candidate but would be a very solid option and should be viewed as a top 2 or 3 candidate along with Arnett for sure. He's better than Odom and more proven than Lukabu and Schulman. Also more plausible than Leonhard.

He’s a very good candidate. However, until he’s definitely out of the running to stay at Texas, he likely isn’t taking another gig.

Well Texas will be making that hire/decision soon, probably within the next week or so. And it sounds like they are trending toward not retaining him, for whatever reason.
