Houston had a pretty good D this year. This was easily their worst game.

Like Charlie Strong doesn't care about defense because Texas's defense isn't good.

Such a fricking stupid comment.

This, and can anyone name one team not named Alabama who hasn't had a defensive let down this year.

That's bull. Hunh offenses put notorious stress on defenses. Look at how guys like Chavis and Muschamp have struggled as DCs in these systems. The defense spends an incredible amount of time on the field running from sideline to sideline.

That said, it can work with the right offensive balance, a la Saban and Meyer. You also need top tier talent, which we have in BR.

Les devoted 100% of his time to offense and look where that got us.

Pelini, Chavis, Steele, Malveto, Aranda essentially had full control. The "eto" part shouldn't have even had control of handing out Gatorade

maybe he does the best with what he has. maybe he needs a school with the recuits, the coordinators and the salary to pay said coordinators.

11 am games on the road...they had a miserable start like many teams have. They recovered well, but their D wasn't focused like in the Louisville game. That defensive performance was awesome.
