Not that I believe this but why would anyone, especially Jimbo being a fellow coach, ever expect Pruitt to leave Bama for anything other than a head coaching job or move to the NFL?

Does that mean Aranda stays?

Go back to your own boards. Your repetitive and unfounded insistence on the glory of FSU is tiresome and irrelevant. You have no idea what happened.

Why would Pruitt leave Bama?

Because at Bama Saban is the de facto DC, here he'd actually be calling the D.

You did not tell Jimbo no because of the DC.

This is so stupid by our administration if this is true. Pruitt is a very good coordinator too, to blow this deal over Aranda who may not even be here in two years is beyond ignorant.

Just wait till everyone's really lubed. This place is going to get even better than the last few days. Being in the Pacific time zone I'll have some catching up to do but I'll
do mop up.

Aranda is like LSU royalty. ..

Administration made it known they would do everything they could to keep him...

I also see issue of hiring a guy like Urban or Saban. ..no one is restricting these 2..

Fisher probably wants the same respect

I'm cringing at how much ammo and material we are giving rival fan bases to make fun of us with all off season

This is believable.
Aranda is the best DC in the business. To hell with bringing in your own. LSU needs offense, the D is solid.

And matched what LSU was offering if he stays. These guys don't love the programs they are at, they love what they give them. And FSU is not some program at another level compared to LSU it's a lateral move. If all things are equal why uproot everything and leave? I really never thought he would.

I hope you didn't tell the guy you offered 6.5 to that he couldn't come because of a DC that could leave in a year. You have to see how ridiculous that is.

That would depend on the DC he intends to hire. If its the current FSU DC, then its a dealbreaker
