I do my best...I know its hard to believe me when most everything I'm saying is going against what reporters are saying...but what are reporters jobs?? Write a story that gets people reading...

He has never said those direct words (enven on Dan patrick show when directly asked... he went off about his love for UM).

FYI: I know he has basically said that (and it is good enough for me) but the only way to dampen the rumors until the hire is to use them by name and say no (and stop the 'i left no wiggle room' answer)

This makes the most sense to me and I think it actually fits with the published reports.

I doubtt either side (Miles or UM) wants to burn bridges permanently. Miles is a pretty young guy. I think he can wait out Carr and see how whatever coach U-M hires does. It would be poision for him to go there now with Carr and his cronies IMHO.

Agreed, I think he will eventually go there. Just not this time. I think if this sorta thing comes again in a few years he may definitely think of it.

Jack Arute had an intersting bit on Rivals Radio about a week ago, talking about Herbstreit, ESPN, the media in general. He said they run with stories to interject themsleves into a situation, to make themselves look important & to most importantly to keep people watching & reading.[b].

I could be mistaken, but he did say that right?

In his post game press conference following the SECCG he said something along the lines of, "You can't be in two places at once. I'm not going there."
