You're completely full of shite.
LSU allegedly already offered 30 and were shut down by Kelly. The false narrative about settling for 20 million has been proven wrong over and over.
If LSU was "given a number" on Saban the ball would be in their court, not Saban's "want to" coach.
There is 0% chance of Dan Lanning being LSU's coach. Not even a 0.0000001% chance.
If you're actually getting information, which I don't think you are, you're being fed naive, sunshine pumping BS.

I am told the expectation is this gets settled before it ever reaches a courtroom at around 29-35 million.

I was told again today LSU was given a number on Nick Saban from Sexton. They didn’t say no. Again the chances of this happening are very very slim due to age and his pure “want” to coach again but there is a legit offer out there.

Lanning and Freeman I was told “calls will be made, but Stars would have to align perfectly”

Kiffin makes a ton of sense when you figure Austin Thomas and Frank worked for him before and would manage the roster until OM’s season is done. He’s the only candidate to wait on.
Every other candidate won’t have that history, so hires are either announced in early Dec or whenever OM loses.

Hey Philly my info is similar with names, but different assignments
Have you heard anything about Saban not taking the coaching position
My sauce is firm on Saban will be here but not as HC. I asked for a percentage on how he feels that he is coming , answer " he's coming"
He thought he would be taking the AD role, but said Saban is coming to "clean up the mess, there is still so much going on behind closed doors Saban will ease the pressure and get this thing back on track, we need him and his reputation"
Also said "Kiffin in the only target right now, and they feel he will take it." Based off convos already had.
Believes Saban will help reel him in. And they are throwing the brinks truck at this whole situation. Money is not any issue

So...
Saban as AD.
Kiffin as HC.
Will Wade back in the fold.
Where do I sign?

Why not? Who’s to say he doesn’t prefer the South, being from the Midwest and spending a lot of time in Georgia, but that being a job that won’t be available.

Hey I don't know, dude. I'm just along for the ride. Trying to read the tea leaves here.
AD would be a new challenge for him. And he's a helluva lot more qualified for AD than he would be for NFL front office.

Lanning can’t win at Oregon. He damn sure won’t win here

That dude is not walking away from the generational wealth he is due to earn in Eugene.
Posted on 11/11/25 at 11:33 pm to LVag1997
He could earn it here too, I agree he isn't coming probably though

Also Oregon has never won anything so they don’t have that high of fan expectations. Win 10 games a year in a top heavy big 10 and you’re golden. He’s getting paid a king’s ransom and will never have to worry about being fired.

You think Miles and Orgeron could win a championship at Oregon? Me neither.
