Sterlin Gilbert

Current Position: OC/QB Coach (South Florida)

Salary: Not available

Alma Mater: Angele State

Pros: Gilbert’s offense at South Florida averaged 513 yards and 38 points a game. He has coached on the big stage at Texas and brings a youthful energy to the locker room and recruiting trail.

Cons: If he were to land at LSU it would be Gilbert’s sixth different stop in as many years. This would probably be a little outside Orgeron’s comfort zone and some questions exist on the offense and fit.

Seems like it may slant things in favor of Narcisse.

Could care less which qb gets the nod. If he is the OC hire, O needs to let him evaluate and decide on the starter. You can’t hold someone accountable when you personally modify their decision making.

Only 39 years old. Normal for a young coach to have that many stops moving up through caching ranks.

If you read through his career progression it's really not concerning at all.
