Do you Dumbasses understand what a new HC is doing when
he takes over a program in shambles. The 1st thing he does
is send the message, that there is a new sherif in town.get
with it or get out.He was sending a message.A good coach
sees his mistakes and makes changes.Bk has done that.

So, Baker was already on staff when Kelly was hired at LSU. And, he wasn’t retained. Being this is one of the most important hires of Kelly’s career, what is it about Baker today that wasn’t true 2 years ago?

It’s obvious some of you people say “do you want fries with that?” on your jobs and have no understanding of how the coaching/corporate world works.

There was a young ambitious American colonial army officer during the French and Indian War who badly wanted a commission in the British Army. The only problem was he fricked up tactically and cost the British an important battle. His name was on the shite list for awhile.

His name was George Washington. Wow. I wonder what changed in n the ensuing ten years where the guy was then named commander of the Continental Army? Some of you would have been asking “why?”

Baker didn’t frick up specifically but in the wrong place at the wrong time. I don’t blame CBK a bit in the world for wanting a fresh start. But thank goodness he had the sense to see that Baker has blossomed and didn’t worry how it looked to the fry cooks on the rant and hired a coach who has become a proven and successful DC.

This doesn’t seem to have been brought up but I believe Kelly’s first choice for DC was Marcus Freeman, who was a lb coach and hot commodity at that time. People liked Baker but there was no indication that Baker would be so great that we needed to hold on to him. Definitely no indication that he’d be the next best thing to Freeman. If you knew that please provide your analysis…or go out and buy some lottery tickets because your talents are being wasted here.
