Hi Tenth, I've been enjoying reading your posts very much. I have no idea who you are, but everything you've written seems very plausible to me.

One question (I apologize if you already covered this):
At what point do you think Orgeron and Canada began to clash?

The Florida game was when the madness started.

As we were up 14 against them, Canada called for Brennan to be put into the game. The reasoning was to throw new plays in that Florida had not seen and catch them off guard to extend the lead because he knew that the D coordinator for Florida was adjusting to them.

Orgeron refused. According to a source I have in the box, Canada slammed his fist down and yelled an obscenity, followed by Orgeron cutting him off completely and running the game himself. We did not score again and lucked out on an XP.

This is the same bull shite that eventually led to Les getting the hook. Loyalty is fine, but if that gets in the way of winning or development (Brennan absolutely needed more snaps last year), you're digging your own grave.

Saban put in a freshman after halftime when his regular starter couldn't cut it. Les couldn't trade 1 senior for another in the same situation and got humiliated, along with turning a lot of the fanbase against him.

I can't imagine what this board would have been like had we not lucked out and this information was leaked after the game.

Aslo, think back on the chatter here leading up to that game. Delta Doc and TBL were both saying that if LSU had lost that game and the following to Auburn (both were expected), that talk was in place to remove both Alleva and Orgeron. Who knows how much truth there was to that but everyone was fully anticipating getting run through by Florida and Auburn was kicking arse leading up to the game in BR. It's crazy to think that Orgeron would do that much and almost, theoretically, seal his fate.

As I think about it, I don't view O's wanting to hire Ensminger as "loyalty." I read it as "extreme insecurity".

If what Tenth Tiger wrote is true in his posts, particularly about the Florida and Alabama games, O is a toxic, threatened and overly defensive person who is now realizing that he is not appreciably better as a HC than what he was at Ole Miss.

What's different about his current circumstances is that he's got better talent and is starting from a higher point. We shouldn't let the O experiment go on any longer.

The divide in this administration is catastrophically bad. It was awful during the Miles break up , but we have reached an entirely new level. Multiple rag tag loose cannons have been let go for false information leaks. Some of which are backed by the side that does not want Ensminger.

I was given a post review for quoting an LSU insider saying this

Serious question about your OP-- is it all detailed in chronological order?

although rumors regarding Kendal Briles and Hugh Freeze are 100-percent false, based on multiple conversations both inside and outside the program. Orgeron never expressed interest in hiring either to LSU leadership, nor did LSU leadership tell him “no.”

Here is a link to my anchored post. Unsure why I got anchored on that one while this one was not, but this is the best that I can do.

#teamTenthTiger

Your info is far better than any other “insider” we get here. Much better than Random or any of the other “insiders” that have sprung up in the last few weeks. Much appreciated

It was anchored bc it’s more of a tRant topic than it is a “coaching changes” topic. Idk why they didn’t just move it to tRant instead of anchoring it, but I’m not an admin so maybe there’s more to it than what I know

It's not the same situation. You are up 17-3 at Florida so why change things. Saban put in Tua T because he was down 17-3. Saban's move makes sense whereas Orgeron replacing Etling with Brennan does not in real time

As to Les not replacing Jefferson .....who knows it was 6 years ago, it was not as though the othe other guy was some sort of world beater....he had to be replaced in th regular season game against Bama because he was getting big time rattled

It was also rumored through the grapevine there was a clash of wives. This was said to create much of the personal animosity, not just coaching differences. I heard, so the story goes, this also had something to do with why the AD would get involved.

If it wasnt already obvious, that was one of the only ways Aranda would stay. He loves Baton Rouge, but Jimbo struck a good note in him. Having a guarantee that he would be the first candidate for HC in the event Orgeron leaves is a pretty sweet deal. Aranda couldnt realistically pass that up.

This is the best news I have heard about this entire cluster F that is Joe Alleva and Coach Corndog. Nice.
