Personally, if CEO finishes the season with 1 or 2 losses, I'd like him to get the nod and bring in Kiffen as OC, but if that doesn't happen, and Herman or Jimbo doesn't happen, would you be ok with Aranda getting the job?

Yeah. Kiffin is going to leave the Saban dynasty, and the most visible OC position in college football, to be the OC for yawyaw.

I love DA as a DC but no thanks on HC. Mike Archer is the last coordinator we hired.

Let's confuse everybody and give it to Ensminger.

He will be a head coach in the next year or two and I would be shocked if he werent a finalist for the LSU job.

O didnt make him Associate HC that was one of the conditions he had to become interim HC.

Yeah hopefully he stays one more year as DC, but he'll be ahead of his own program in a year or two

You guys do understand that if Coach O isnt retained and we hire a new head coach they usually bring their own personel with them. I mean it would be nice to hand pick who stays and who goes but that doesnt happen to often. I believe when saban left MSU no one came with him not sure if Les brought people with him ? hell maybe i'm wrong

1.) Herman and Aranda are good friends

2.) We retained Jimbo when we hired Miles

It's a possibility

IF Steve Ensminger continues to kick arse like nobody has ever done at LSU before then I want him. Please do not hire that douchebag Lane Kiffen, regardless of any benefit he brings. I would like to enjoy LSU football and seeing him on the sideline would be hard to enjoy.

LSU is NOT hiring anyone that has never been a head coach.

Some coordinators have no desire to be a head coach. Aranda is a great DC but if you've seen one interview with him you would wonder about his potential as a head coach. Brent Venables is a good example. He enjoys being a DC and could've been a HC years ago if he wanted to pursue it.

And, yes, he's been mentioned every day for the last week.

I love the idea of Aranda and if we don't hire him next year will be his last season at lsu if the new coach keeps him cause he will be a HC somewhere in the power 5
