A black will become a HC alot sooner if he does not have a white wife as per the new hires at Louisville and Kansas. The wife combo is a tough sell to the alums and boosters at most schools.
Yea you need to wait till you start gettin paid till you land that trophy white bitch. Either that or she's fat as a rhinoceros.

The Rooney Rule is bullshite. I think it's more racist that a black man HAS to interview before you can hire someone. Black people should feel like used when they go interview knowing they have no shot when they hear on the news who the team is really targeting.

I agree, hire the best person for the job. By the way how many white candidates did Southern interview?

Ask Marcus Jacoby how the whole QB thing worked out at Southern when he had a bad game. Something about death threats didnt sit real well with him. Of course he had probably thrown an int and derserved it...

If the black coach is the most qualified person for the job im fine with that but I hate it when people get mad at colleges for not hiring the black coach. I don't want LSU making society happy by hiring a crappy coach just because he was black.

Blacks make up 12% of the population. Therefore, anymore than 12% of the coaching jobs going to blacks would clearly be discrimination against whites.

...this offseason? If you haven't, then it is probably a good thing and shows that we are maybe moving (slowly) to a more colorblind society.
Was also nice to see RB Toby Gerhart do well, don't you think?

Why is there no United Caucasian College Fund? Oh, that's right, it would be racist...

The hiring of any individual for any job should be based on merit. However, ULL hired Jerry Baldwin as the first black coach at a major Louisiana University. After going 6-27 he was terminated, then he sued the University for racial discrimination although they were the first major La. Univ. to hire a black head coach. After years in the court system the case was recently resolved in favor of the University. This case could have a negative effect in the hiring of a black head coach by some atheletic directors.Anytime a coach goes 6-27 he should be terminated regardless of his color.
I never good understand this line of reasoning- If a black is fired, the civil rights card is pulled out & a cry of racism. But how can it be racism, if he was hired in the first place??? This never made since to me in any job...
