Terry Saban not moving to Texas. She said when asked about the rumors. " I guess he's moving without me."

As a LSU fan the potential for Saban leaving is largely a neutral outcome. Alabama will replace him with a competent coach if he leaves and Texas will start pulling a lot more of the top tier Texas talent LSU and A&M have been able to snag lately.
Who benefits from Saban to Texas? 1) Saban 2) Texas 3) The Big 12 4) Auburn
LSU isn't really on the list FWIW

There's been no authoritative statement from anyone. If Nick was staying and that was a done deal, this matter could have been put to bed in 15 minutes. Same if he was inked as the new Texas coach.

Saban going to Texas would lock LSU out of that state in recruiting. This would be a huge blow to the program at LSU.

This makes sense if they don't have Saban on the back-burner. The consensus around here is they wouldn't remove Brown without a backup plan. I think there's probably truth to that much, at least.
