Has anyone ever considered that Les Miles is the souce...

that keeps leaking stuff to ESPN.
Carr and his group of PTB don't want Miles. Michigan fans (for the most part) want Miles and will be upset if their leaders can't land him when it's obvious he wants the job. Miles knows both of these facts.
Leak to the media that "I'm taking the Michigan job" or "I will accept the job if offered" ............... Therefore, if someone other than Miles is hired, there is egg on face for anyone in charge at Michigan for not getting the coach that the fans wanted when said coach wanted the job! Hell, Bill Martin already got the boot for the Miles saga, maybe Miles is going after Carr and Mary Sue Coleman this time, maybe even Brandon as well.
Just a theory ... but this is now the second time that ESPN is reporting "Miles to Michigan" albeit this time it's a litte different than last time as Schad is saying "Miles will accept if offered."
That Miles is smarter than he may appear on the surface IMO.

to me the way that Carr and his minions have treated Les during the last 2 coaching seaches is beyond low down. Carr seems like he is willing to destroy Michigan to keep Les from coaching at UM. Lloyd Carr needs a arse whipping.

Yeah, I don't know that it really reflects anything negatively on Miles' part other than the fact that he wants the Michigan job and Carr keeps blocking him from getting it.
Miles' actions that led to that position on Carr's part might reflect negatively on Miles, but not the act of actually wanting the job and trying to get it (and make the people blocking him from getting it look bad in the process). There's nothing wrong with that IMO.

From what I read a lot of fans don't give a damn what Carr thinks in fact there are some fans that blame him for Michigans current state. Meddling to stop Miles last time got the pro Miles faction up in arms.

The conspiracy theory I go with is that Les will take the job if "offered." This allows him to decline and Mich officials can go to next candidate without egg on their face and claim the hire is who they wanted. Also, the mafia killed JFK.
