Harbaugh staying at Stanford?

called it yesterday. I just don't see how Luck comes back into an unknown with a new coach, possibly losing out on millions.

Luck would come back with or without JH, He is on pace to get his degree something him and his family really want for himself. That's his motive, As for JH if he stays I don't know. Maybe nothing out there interests him enough just yet. Who knows but to say Luck is staying simply because JH is not true IMO. If your Luck and you are staying to get that degree why not still play football? He plays rather he is coach or not.

Supposedly some billionaire named John Arrillaga really wants Harbaugh to stay and they have presented him an offer worth 6 million/year with incentives.
Don't know if the 49ers or Michigan are willing to go that high.

We have our own billionaire that could probably match and outbid. Stephen Ross, the guy that owns the Dolphins. How do you go from offering $8 mill to then all of a sudden pulling out of the deal later that night saying you are sticking with your coach?? Coincidence? Maybe Ross was recruiting him for M all along. Stupid theory? Probably. But until Jim Harbaugh signs on the dotted line somewhere else, he's still in play here.

Arrillaga is Stanford's main booster. He's given them a few hundred million for athletics and academic stuff. No surprise that he would put together a serious package to try to get him to stay
