His defensive attack stifled the two highly regarded qbs. His offensive strategy provided all the points he needed. He adjusted when needed late in the game against Bama and scored at critical moments. He led his group of players. He did this better than Saban and blew DaBoer out of the building.

Harbaugh did it in 9th year.. Saban already won 4 titles by year 9th season

Are you willing to give Kelly 9 years?

Harbaugh is 89-24 at Michigan
Saban went 202-29 at Alabama 6 of those loss came in year 1!

So Jim needs to go 113-5 and win 5 more titles the next 8 seasons to match Saban.

get out of here with the one game comparison...

This was Alabama's weakest team in 10 years

Did I say he was better than Saban over the course of each coach’s career/ No, it’s obvious that Saban was done. It is just funny to me that for the 2023 season Harbaugh may have been the best and he exposed DaBoer

Michigan barely defeated Bama. A couple of different bounces and it’s a different outcome. However, Michigan beat the snot out of Washington. I don’t think those facts will transfer to a win for Michigan if they end up with Bama as a playoff opponent next year. Michigan doesn’t go undefeated if in the SEC.

meh. UM had its worst special teams play in 25+ years of my life. and every single one was unforced. bama didn't partake in:

1) the botched XP which would have put UM up 14-7
2) dropped punt in the 1st Q which Bama cashed in due to a short field
3) missed a 49 yard FG
4) fumbled punt towards the end of the game. UM wanted to go for a FG in regulation to win the game

most UM fans feel like they should have won by 10-14 points in regulation due to all the self-inflicted mistakes by UM

So the kicker wasn’t good or choked—part of the team
Punter- part of team
The D gave up a TD on a short field-they are part of the team.

It’s a team game. Can’t help if 1 part of the team sucked it up.
You can’t say “we should have won by 10-14” when you didn’t. Part of your team screwed up. If they do it once it might be a fluke but when it’s consistent it’s a pattern. If y’all play them 10 times I say y’all win 6-7 times. This games y’all were able to overcome your special teams patterns but if they make offensive adjustments you may not.
