if it was nolan, that would be a great hire. as for recruiting, seems like he would be a good living room guy to go along with les, cam and frank.

wonder if he'd bring bryan cox as LB/DL coach...would have to get beckwith and garrett some purple neck pads

Mike Nolan's defense was abysmal last year. Simply awful

When this post started and I learned the 'clues' my first thought was Nolan. All around great hire if it is him IMHO.. Louisiana ties, great experience, and very good D's..

Gregg Williams
the guy who "helped" kirby gameplan on how to stop the option before the NCG 4 years ago today? because when you need to stop a lethal threat like jordan jefferson, the modern day tommie frazier, you ignore nick saban in the room next to you and turn to a guy who has been in the nfl for over 20 years and never even seen the option.

oh but he did watch LSU practice in the dome. i wonder if that was helpful in some way to bama.

either way, its probably healthiest for gregg williams if he just stays the frick away from Baton Rouge.

I left work completely tired of this DC search. Then the last 6 pages has sucked me right back in.

Damn you people lol.

I'm going with Nolan too.

The reason I don't think its Nolan is because if it was why hasn't it been announced? Nolan has been fired for going on 2 weeks. Nah its someone who's team is still playing.

Yesterday Hannigriff spent 30 minutes mocking Les Miles, expressing zero confidence in Miles attracting a quality D.C., it wasn't until he was told who that Hannigriff did a complete 180 and starting praising LSU's coaching hire.

I give credit to those Tiger fans who respect "The Hat" enough to just let him be our head coach. If Hannigriff gets any credit in this, its only for being a jerk on the radio, nothing more.

This guy has a history with Les and Cam, but don't see him as being a shocking hire.

Give it a fricking rest already a-hole. What Hannagriff said is he thought it was ridiculous to chase an Oregon lifer all the way to next Tuesday and I agree with him. You've been acting like such a bitch about this today.

Maybe he wanted to see what was available in the League first?
