Why leave UGA when the immediate future looks so good?
More money?
Or a chance to come home?

A chance to come home is a plus for a lot of people. I wouldn’t be surprised if we added a raise in there to win him over.

Would definitely have a more talented bunch of receivers here. Depends on how you define immediate future.

He wants to be a fighting tiger

Coaching seems to be a profession that values exposure to different methods and connections that are only cultivated by moving around to different programs.

If it's true that Kirby is meddling with the offense he may feel like he has a better chance to shine here.

The opportunity to make a shite ton of money an hour away from home is enticing

LSU is a better job.
Your question comes off as if LSU isn’t a destination coaching position.

In defense of the OP, I think he's suggesting (correctly, in my opinion) that UGA is also a " destination" job. And they have certainly been more consistent in recent years. So one could see this as a parallel move. But I agree that the pull of home while going to an equally good job is a powerful combination.

Georgia and LSU are comparable jobs and UGA has been overall more consistent than LSU with less losses

I mean put yourself in his shoes, assuming you are an LSU fan. If you were at UGA and LSU offered a little bit more money for you to come over for the same gig, would you take it? I know I would.

Because he doesn’t want to work for Les Miles 2.0

6 offensive plays. 2 passes thrown and they were basically throw aways. 2 three and outs.

Georgia fans are probably blaming him for their shite offense

Georgia fans are in denial. Kirby truly is the 2.0 version of Les.

Just showed Cortez celebrating with Pickens.

Agreed. Hankton is a well respected coach and will be yet another excellent hire by Coach Kelly

I'm sure UGA would give him a pay bump. Athens>BR

He prefers LSU. Georgia countered and he turned them down
