Is Bell just not going to even get a sniff?

Why would anyone want to uproot and go to a one year job?
1. $$$$$$
2. Muschamp gets fired midseason, becomes interim head coach.
3. Leads team to success.
4. Becomes UF HC or goes to a Midmajor to become a HC.

Only if UF misses on just about all their top candidates.

He did develop John Brantley.

The spread is fine, so long as it's not an spread option offense. We have already gone through the change to get more powerful backs... let's not try this wildcat shite or triple option spread offense. If they can find someone to mirror what teams like Green Bay and New England do, it will be effective in this league.

If UF ran this we would be unstoppable. Better then Oregon scary.

Personally, I really like his scheme. Not sure why, but he keeps getting passed over each time the opening pops up.

UNC OC Blake Anderson has now been contacted by UF as well.

My sleeper was contacted (even though I expected it).

I'm secretly hoping Will Muschamp can't find a suitable replacement offensive coordinator, thus getting himself fired next year...and then Ellis Johnson retires from Auburn, setting us up to hire Will Muschamp as defensive coordinator again.
A man can dream, right?

We will all know after next year, for sure. He will probably go to UGA or another SEC school and be a pain in UF's backside if he doesn't make it as the HC.

Did you not notice that all the guys listed were spread guys?
I did, which is why I called it out.
Maybe he's decided that, like you said, 1 yard and a cloud of dust will get you canned quick at Florida.

He has.

Looking from afar UF's offense looked too much for the players to handle. UF has speed, and it makes sense to go to a spread. But, this whole situation kind of reminds me when Tuberville tried to implement the spread at Auburn before his tenure ended.

None of these guys are in the "family" so to speak.

It looks like Blake Anderson has replaced Christensen out of the candidates. Christensen was in contact with UF, but it seems as if they never got past the inquiry stage.

No clue. The only thing I have taken from the info I have received is UF is definitely moving to the spread.
Possibly a risky move since WM has been recruiting to play a power run game. This is sorta what has happened to Texas...Mack couldn't decide what his offensive identity was going to be from year to year.

I don't understand why Josh Henson's name hasn't come up.
Why would Josh leave? His wife is from the Columbia area. He isnt going anywhere.
