Just said that on MNF, it's over, he'll stay in the booth or take over the Eagles.

I agree. Why would he take a college job when he would be coveted for an NFL job.

Any college team who goes after him is in a catch 22. They win with Gruden and he's in the NFL and you're looking for a new coach within 4 years. You lose and you get to keep him, but you're losing.

Exactly, so why would he not just take an NFL job now with all these openings. SD, Philly, and Dallas are all great stops way better than anything he could do in college.

Having Gruden on MNF has to be pure torture for Tennessee fans.

I would love to have him but it doesn't bother me. I always knew that getting him to UT was about as probable as Dooley winning an SEC game this year. There are plenty of other coaches I see on tv that I would rather have.

Tennessee should go after Charlie Weis.

A Weis-coached Bray would make most SEC fans soil themselves.

Why does everyone assume that Gruden even wants to coach?

Gruden, I believe loves to be wanted and have his name thrown around. Honestly, I doubt he coaches anywhere because none of the situations really fit him (if he even wants to coach). However, I believe a San Diego or USC would be the ideal situations if he wants to come back.
