Granted, he helped land Todd and York.. Our kicking game has been very productive under his watch.. but he is 61.

With the new youth coaching movement, do y'all think LSU moves in a direction where the Special Teams coach also helps with a position like TEs for example?

If Peetz is going to have that Brady offensive scheme where he forces the defense to cover every blade of grass.. then I believe having somebody dedicated to the TEs is pretty important.

McMahon could stay on as an senior analyst like Ensminger.

Dude I've been reading your takes on this board......stick to your day job!!!

Find some options or day trades and just be a fan of football because your coaching takes fricking suck.

I wish they would hire John Decoster back as TE coach and OL assistant, and give the ST to someone else and let McMahon retire.

Although he has done a great job.

Would be great to have a young recruiter in that spot, but our special teams have been really solid under McMahon. Very few major mistakes and well-organized. That’s a big deal to have that reliability.

Damn dude. Calm down a bit. I’ll share some of my blood pressure meds if you need it.

He’s done very well with ST. I mean for shite’s sake, he turned a former minor league pitcher walk-on into an all-SEC caliber punter.

Blood pressure is fine. The dude has some fricking wild takes. He is shitting on the Daronte hire but wants someone young @ ST? Meanwhile its one of our biggest strengths

It wasn’t too long ago that we had the worst special teams in the SEC. He deserves a raise not a demotion

Why do y'all want to get rid of the one coach who actually has his unit looking great.

I do wish they could bring decoster back.

So salty. I was merely asking a question.

Steve Ensmiger just retired because he is 62. O said on OTB that he didn't have a lot left in the tank.

Greg has been a great coach, but he is 61. There seems to be an influx of a youth movement.

A lot of programs are making the position a hybrid type roll.

Jeff Banks does ST/TEs at Bama
Matt Barnes does S/ST at OSU
Oklahoma and TAM use an analyst. Neither uses a dedicated on-field ST coach.

BTW: I didn't like the Jones hire. But, like most fans, we have our opinions and cheer regardless for the success of the coach.

(Lots of tough guys in Youngsville these days. haha)

Just because you watched the vikings?

What else?

He seems like a smart, quite teacher type. I like those kind of coaches. Will mix well with coach o.

They need someone with experience at linebacker. My guess is that's why they like baker.

I don't know.. that's what I was asking..

Don't ask questions on the Rant. Tough guys from Youngsville assume you're preaching gospel.

No, you said you didn't like the hire.

I was just asking why.
