ETA: Of course, being Vandy, any coach who has the possibility of winning 6 games a year is an A.

i grade it a C b/c he wont be there in 3 years. if theyre ok with that, and knew that, than its an A. but if they think he signed a 7 year contract and will fulfill it all they are dreaming

A for Vanderbilt. Not sure Vanderbilt could have gotten a better up and coming coach. It will be interesting to see how good of a staff he's able to hire with his limited experience in the college game. That will be the difference between his success or failure there.

It's as good as they could have possibly done. Who was a better more realistic candidate for the job?

Why is everybody so high on this guy? I mean if I had Cam Newton as my QB I could be an offensive "genius". Seriously, what do they do that is so awesome? They line up in a wildcat formation and Cam goes left or Cam goes right...This will get you 200 yds a game if you did nothing else. Was Auburn an offensive jaugarnuat before Cam? What about after Cam? See Florida.
