So Miles is being pressured to fire his OC just like he was pressured to keep Jimbo and not bring Bill Clay? But he's not a yes man.

What i think happened (or maybe happened) is that Miles wanted to give Crowton enough time to find another job...the higher ups said he's had enough time now and he has to go....Miles said OK. I dont really see anything wrong with that since Crowton was out the door anyway. Just my 2 cents.

I think CLM wanted GC gone but the higher ups balked at the cost of the payout...in steps the TAF money guys who backs CLM and says they'll pony up the dough to get GC out...GC finds a new job so that he's not fired.

How does GC's contract work? If he's fired, he gets the payout? If he finds a new job he doesn't get the payout? Why should he keep his salary for the next few years if he's fired for just cause (I think I offensive stats this year are just cause).

so you think Miles wanted him to coach one more year knowing he was "out the door" already? Sounds like a great head coach.

Whoever LSU gets, I want them to stick to that and not mixing some prostyle in with spread. Have a identity. Either go full spread or full pro. I'll bet any amount of money Miles wants to go full pro since he likes all those ISO plays up the gut...

Wait...what? I said Miles wanted to give him time to find another job (as in not firing him after the bowl game)....nothing about coaching one more year.

lets not forget BG is the passing game coord. good luck finding a big name OC who's willing to come in and be Co-OC.

it pretty much has to be BG. he left UF because he kept getting passed over for the OC, if he got passed over here..heh

so one guy coaches the flankers while another teaches the split ends, yano is teaching tight ends and robinson is coaching backup DEs. Meanwhile, JJ you just take some laps with the kickers.

Almost as bad as people claiming Gonzo to OC with Tolbert as WR coach. Makes no sense. I guess JJ is and the other QBs are going to coach for themselves. Maybe move Yano over to work his magic and pedophile ways on the QBs. I also can't see Tolbert, a established NFL coach, demoting himself to working under a green OC...in CFB nonetheless. Even if it is LSU.

That would be a classic Miles move if it did happen.
