Negotiating from the perspective of "I will pay whatever it takes" means you will pay everything. I watched Herman screw up that game yesterday with terrible clock management at the end and could only think of the melt that would happen here if he was the LSU coach. He will probably be a better coach in ten years, but he isn't all that now. I'd rather have Herman's offensive coordinator than Herman. Certainly don't want Herman's "defense," if you can call it that.
