PETE was in the playoffs the first two years after replacing coach Bill Parcells. After those two years he fell off.

USC fans absolutely melted down when PC was announced. He was admittedly about their 5th choice, and whatever very limited success he had was not enough to convince the fanbase of anything other than the hire being a complete blunder.
