How long does he stay here at LSU?

He's gotta get another chance to be head coach at some point, right? Or, does he not want that chance anymore?

I am hoping that he is seen in the coaching world as a proven failure as a head coach, and that he will therefore be here for a very long time.

I'd say 2-3 more years. If you look at his past, he does great the first 2-3 years, then after teams figure his offense out he has a steep decline.

I'm hoping this 1 more year. I've heard rumors that Crowton has put out feelers for other jobs because he was not happy with Les overruling his play calling.

my understanding is that he does not want a HC job. now weather or not he is happy with miles and the play calling?? all i know is what i have read on here.

I HOPE HE STAYS AS LONG AS HE WANT TO!

2-3 more years. someone may offer him a HC job or someone will offer him more money for OC.

Is there any proof of this? Seems that the best idea would be for Miles to just let Crowton, who is an offensive genius, do his work. And as for his offense declining after 2-3 years, I could see him creating new pages of the playbook just for Russell Sheperd. The talent level of a team can make any scheme work if it tailors to the skills of the players on the team.

I think he'll be at LSU for at least as long as Les is here.

There may be some smaller schools that would offer him a HC position but he would probably make more $$$ as OC than as HC at a small school. My guess is that he's over that HC thing and is content to be an OC.

He's been running the same damn offense for many years now and NO ONE has figured it out and they damn sure won't figure it out at LSU because we have way to many options.

I think he stays here for a long time.
