I'd love to have him at UAB

He’s going to weasel his way into the head coach in waiting job somewhere elite just like his brother did. They don’t strike me as the types to start at smaller schools and pull themselves up by their bootstraps, I can see him going to Michigan or something in a few years to be the OC then just waiting out Harbaugh’s retirement, etc.

you mean like lincoln did with East Carolina?
sure it wasnt HC, but not like he became OC at oklahoma as soon as he was done at TTU.

Uh ok? Not sure why you’re responding like a smartass with a bunch of laughing faces when you’re not even on topic. Makes you look like a moron. I’m very obviously talking about which HC jobs he’s likely to take. Obviously I’m not talking about his willingness to take an OC job at a lesser school considering Garrett is currently the OC at SMU....? What a random dumbass response

Honestly wouldn’t mind having him as HCIW at Ole Miss since Lane is always leaving. Dude has put up good numbers and would be considerably better than weiss.

so both were willing to take lower OC positions to get OC at bigger school but suddenly they are little bitches who are entitled and wouldnt accept anyhting besides HCIW at a big school?
your whole premise is fricking stupid.

He made you look foolish, so you double down as though taking an OC job at a small directional school is not a whole lot like pulling yourself up by your bootstraps.
He went from OC to AHC/OC at East Carolina before being hired as OC for Oklahoma. Not sure he was technically a HCIW.
Stoops retiring was sort of a surprise to many folks, as I recall.
Garrett Riley has been coaching for a while including being an OC at SMU and now TCU
