Saban is correct in his logic, but there is one thing he’s missing with his timing scenario. In the NFL, everything is ruled by the Commissioner and the Competition Committee. It is a legally allowed organization beyond the rule of law as designated by Congress . College football, at least in this era, some lawyers would step in and say you can’t make these rules regarding the denial of people freely making these business decisions ! That’s why College football is so screwed up as it is today. Congress needs to step up and pass some laws to level the playing field across the entire sport.
