What would you think Lincoln Riley would say? Of course he is gonna deny it, if true. He doesn't want to sit there and answer questions about leaving OU after the loss to OkST. I mean it's not like this is the first time a coach lied about their next job. Relax..... Most of these insiders have had good information at some point in the past. And for all of them to have the same info, I tend to believe they are right.

“Man I already answered this last week. I’m not going to get into this coaching bull shite. I care about my team. My team that just fought hard for 60 minutes and came up just short. It’s an emotional night man. So forgive me if I’m not interested in talking about some internet rumor and want to focus on the game tonight.”

LSU fans live in some fairytale land where they expected Lincoln to be back on a flight to Baton Rouge tonight without his team. His quote doesn’t mean Jack shite. He may come, he may not. But I know he’s not gonna come out and say yeah I’m going to LSU in that situation. Would be plain stupidity.

Yep you don't drop that kinda info on someone else's time. You decide when and where you share that info. That's all Lincoln is doing.

He directly addressed LSU in the comments and seemed pretty pissed about it. Not only that if he goes back on his word in that position the way he did it not going to be a good look for him, imo. I know coaches in the past have denied rumors but that was as a clear "no" as you're going get. He's not coming here.

With you 100%. Coaches are masters at dancing around questions. He did not need to answer the question as emphatically as he did.

There’s about 10,000 miles between what he said and what he had to say to shut the line of questioning down.

I don't know. Sounds like a Kiffin move to me to say straight up he isn't the next head coach and then bolt the next day

I figured he would just give a rah rah speech or avoid the question altogether.

Louisiana is full of dumb people.

Crazy they don't understand this.

When has a coach ever said he was switching schools after a rivalry game?

Completely agree with you. I’m gonna have to get off of here soon, because my fellow tiger brethren are driving me nuts tonight.
