There’s some rumors that he is their #1 or #2 target. I don’t normally follow Mizzou but it seems like they’ve gone silent.

Would be a fantastic hire if they could pull that off.

Seems like a good coach, but I am kind of lukewarm on him. You might even say I'm Fickell.

Maybe if they pay him a fortune. He’s in line for a much bigger job this year or next.

There’s no way Luke Fickell is taking that job.

I haven't heard anything about Fickell.

General consensus is that he wants to stay in Ohio.

If they did it, it would be a great hire. He’s a very good coach.

The media is licking their wounds after going all in on a rumor that I believe came from either Jimmy Sexton or from Barry Odom.

They want an offensive coach. However, Fickell would be an excellent choice if he’d accept.

What does this mean? I've never followed a more confusing coaching search with more dead ends than Missouri.

Missouri has basically been turned down by 22 coaches at this point, I think it’s a race between Fickell and Bryan Harsin (Boise State Coach)

All of Gabe Dearmond's credibility comes from his dad being a fixture at the KC Star for more than. 4 decades. He runs the rivals site for Missouri. He is Dave Matter's primary source of info. When they hold hands they become the Press Box Super Friends. They do a half-assed weekly TV show with another guy that can't iron a shirt. A boob STL radio announcer ran with a story about the Arky State coach being the guy and they both ate it up as fact. Now they are quietly circling wagons after looking like dipshits when one of the BOCs who's number is hanging from the rafters posted that their story wasn't true.

Dude Fickell could get any job he wanted in the country. As soon as Day goes to the NFL he will be the next OSU HC. He isn’t going to Missouri.

That’s an accurate summation.
