Did Fedora have a lot of key injuries this year? I haven't paid attention.
Key injuries can have a way of turning an otherwise promising season upside down.

Morris, Fisher, and now Fedora.
Right.

Right.

Aggies hiring a coach who is 2-7?

don't see how that would be much of an improvement over Sumlin.
He's not. This would be a headscratcher

In fact, I'd place them in the same coaching tier with Kevin Sumlin having the more successful resume.
I don't necessarily disagree that they're in the same tier, but Fedora beat Sumlin head-to-head for a conference championship and has at least won his division at his current job.

I think the barber part might actually be true. Fedora definitely grew up in College Station
Yes, but his true dream job would be at his alma mater coaching the Austin College Kangaroos in the great city of Sherman, Texas. It's about time Kanga got an HC that can coach them to an above .500 season in the mighty Southern Athletic Association.

This is the second time I’ve seen someone use Home builder as a “source”. Either way, Fedora was the runner up when we hired Sumlin in December 2011... doubt he gets a look now.

-------- A&M is Larry Fedora's dream job, his father was actually a popular barber near the campus in College Station, and the Powers-That-Be at A&M are ready to pull the trigger starting next Sunday.
Source is a high ranker (Home Builder) among a very strong coalition that simply will not take no for an answer. Fedora to A&M. Done
This has got to be horseshite. Aggy can’t be this dumb, right?

I'm not claiming to have any sources, for the record.
I'm just saying: if you think Fedora is your guy, you go and get him.

So they are going to hire a guy whose teams are basically built to do the EXACT same thing?
I think Fedora is a good coach. If I'm A&M, I'm not sure he'd be my choice, TBH, but if that's who they want... go get him. Don't waste time and don't drag it out -- pick your guy and get them.

LOL!
This is the second time an alumnus of a conference rival has referenced a "home builder" as the source of their rumor about our coaching hire. Different coaches each time.
Our high ranking alumni run companies like Exxon and Saudi Aramco.
I know you hillbillies think that home builders are badass rich guys, but that's not impressive in our world.

He could go to Memphis after Arkansas hires their coach
