I was around, but the program was at its lowest point in its history so not exactly apples to apples. Even then, those players have said they wanted to play at LSU but couldn’t because of how bad we were. I’ve heard Reggie Wayne say this on more than one occasion.

Frank Wilson Tenure: Louisiana Recruits to Non-LSU SEC Schools he was at.
Not sure if he was recruiter or not.
(Note; 2 played in the NFL - I only remember LSU recruiting 3 or 4 of these guys, not saying we didn’t, only I don’t remember them)

I support LSU football and coach Lane.This post isn't to advocate to keep Frank.But Devin White, The honeybadger,Derrick Guice,WIl Clapp,Donate Jackson along with D.Grealds,L.Brown and R.Anderson from this year are a few players that Frank has been lead recruiters over the years.Will LSU succeed after Frank.Yes.But we shouldn't bash him.Remember we did it to Corey R. Oh I forgot LF

Why? Those are facts. LSU won 3 in recent history and Frank wasn’t a part of any of those staffs. He also had a prominent role on the two staffs that got Les and BK fired. Those facts can’t be disputed.
