On another post, saw where he was one of the four leading candidates at this point. Found this article on him at ASU this past season:

LINK

If he could get anybody on our team to complete even 60 percent of their passes, much less 74 percent, we'd be unbeatable!

Scelfo did not coach at ASU aka Arizona State University. He coached at the University of Arizona. These are two different places.

Scelfo is a fine QB coach.......we could do a lot worse if we bring in an OC without QB coaching experience.

I think the general thought is he'd be a QB coach, not OC

He is the biggest arse you could ever meet. I know him from way back, and he would be a horrible addition to the LSU coaching staff.

Scelfo is a good QB coach. Don't know if I would make him OC(which will not happen at LSU) but he can develop some QB's

I was frankly excited about the possibility of him coming here. I hope that's still in play.

Always use another Louisiana boy on the staff.

just what we need, a spread guru to come in and frick up JJ and Mett and JL and Rivers. 74% of dinky passes. we need to decide on what type of team we are going to be. i say pro style with some spread formations and plays when needed or to mix it up. we need power running with excellent run blocking and passing downfield. we aren't oregon.
