Nacho, you were at Tulane when Trooper was there?

just what we need, a spread guru to come in and frick up JJ and Mett and JL and Rivers. 74% of dinky passes. we need to decide on what type of team we are going to be. i say pro style with some spread formations and plays when needed or to mix it up. we need power running with excellent run blocking and passing downfield. we aren't oregon.
if we had chip kelly and this defensive staff we'd probably win back-to-back championships

What did you think of him. I met him socially at another coach's house. I liked the guy.

love the guy man. him and frank are two of my favorite coaches of all time. troop can relate to anyone which is why he is an amazing recruiter and he does genuinely care about his guys which is rare... he's a little crazy but all in all a great dude.

what other coaches house btw?

The Don!!! That's hilarious.. He was my position coach.

Alot more people would probably have a better perception of him if he didn't act as if he was at a rap concert while he's on the sidelines

he gets the kids excited bro... it's what he's paid to do.

LOl Yes. That's him. My wife and his wife got to be really good friends. They still keep in touch. Don and Trooper were really good guys imo. Trooper's wife seemed to be really nice as well. I hate all the talk about him paying players. I hope it's not true.

small world man... that really worries me as well, he was always a "fringe" recruiter. would hate to see him get caught doing something like that....

quote:That can be said about a large majority of coaches. Even a few that have coached a LSU. A Coaching friend told me one time that every program is dirty. Some are just dirtier than others. I wasn't told that by Trooper or Don but someone that was at LSU.
