Muschamp is greatly overrated - he didn't do shite at Texas. He did well at LSU because Saban actually ran the defense.

His defenses at Auburn and Florida were damn good.

I guarantee you LSU makes it to Atlanta more often than Auburn for the rest of this decade.

No need for moral victories.... Y'all never beat us. I'm guessing you are saying that is beating you on the field as a moral victory if y'all get boom, that's just dumb

You do realize that LSU has only made it to Atlanta 3 times under Les Miles in 10 seasons, right?

Only once without Nick Saban's recruits. That's a fact, not some flame. His first season he went to Atlanta and his third.

And Auburn has fluked their way there once under Malzahn. Am I supposed to believe it means they'll be there every other year? Maybe they just regressed to the mean this year.

LSU is a better program than Auburn. They get better recruits than Auburn. They consistently have better teams than Auburn. That's also not a flame, just facts.

Even if Auburn can sure up their defense (whether they get Muschamp or not), I don't think anyone is really afraid of the West consistently going through Auburn.

It'll go through Tuscaloosa in most years in the near future. And after Alabama, I would say LSU is the 2nd favorite in the West next year (thanks to a light schedule).

One could argue they underachieve due to being the only team in the state.

Share a state with Alabama (or any other strong program) and get back to us.

Over the past 4 recruiting seasons, Auburn and LSU have split the higher ranking class 2-2. Auburn is currently ranked higher this year with a higher average.

Facts and shite.

According to ESPN, LSU has had a better class than Auburn the past three years.

According to Rivals, LSU has had a better class than Auburn 3 of the past 4 years.

So yeah, no.

That is tough. You are right.

However, that's the hand both programs were dealt. Not saying LSU doesn't have a much better set-up than Auburn.
