For the record, Riley is the one under the most pressure not Woodward

It’s been reported that Woodward is applying pressure on Lincoln Riley to decide by this weekend. Woodward knows any good coach he hires at LSU will win in the SEC and have a good chance to make the playoffs, history has proven it. Riley doesn’t know if OU can recruit well enough to win in the SEC.
Woodward has what we call in poker a strong hand, he doesn’t have to gamble much. Riley has to gamble plenty, he has hope he can recruit well enough at OU to win in the SEC, Woodward already knows any good coach at LSU can. You tell me, who’s under the most pressure?

Nick Saban because he knows he can no longer coach against a potato

It’s over baws. It’s riley. Rest easy knowing we’re about to destroy the SEC for the next 10+ years. We had to suffer through Leslie eating grass and Orgeron just being himself. It’s going to be refreshing to actually hear “coach talk” during press conferences if I’m being honest

I love that y’all think past history dictates future results.

As an Aggie or even an OU fan..... you might wanna think about that statement.... OU claims “BlueBlood Status” but hasn’t won shite since the BCS and Playoff system was created. Congrats on stacking up Big 12 Titles I guess?

Whoa…..that’s awfully big talk coming from someone whose team last won a national championship when Poland was being invaded by Nazis.

Leave it to an A&M fan to say this. Given that A&M has always sucked, this is their only saving grace. That maybe one day they will no longer suck.

The fact that Aggy is a perennial loser historically is a great leading indicator. So yeah, duh.

How special are you?
You quoted an A&M fan to talk shite about OU. Cool.
OU doesn't claim "bluebood status". That's been bestowed upon them for their historical dominance in college football. OU is a top 5 historical program.
OU hasn't won a title since 2000, correct. It's been a tough 20 years in that regard. There's no argument there. Trust me, we know it, it's really not that much of a burn. OU fans, in general, don't give a shite what some new money LSU fans think.
In that span though, OU has won 82% of their games (or 239 wins). They've been to 4 playoffs (I know, 0-4). They've had only 4 seasons in which they've won less than 10 games. In that same time frame (2000-present), LSU has had 11 seasons in which they didn't win at least 10 games.
But I know, the Big 12 is weak and he SEC is awesome. Yeah, yeah, save the herp derp.
Congrats on the natties though and congrats on back to back seasons of pure and utter shite.

Good God, that’s a whole lot of cringe

You’re an idiot. 3 titles in the last 18 years is a pretty good reason for LSU fans to believe there will be more success coming. It’s much more comical that you think A&M will start winning anything of significance considering they never have in your lifetime.

I get your point. But if LR says no….then we are looking at Mark Stoops. Stoops may be solid but not sure the money guys will be impressed, so SW may have some pressure. No?

No he does not. He will not hire Stoops. It will be Aranda or Napier if it is not Riley. A&M and OU fans can shoot their mouths off if they feel compelled to do so, but they will have the same amount of control over the situation as anyone else - none, whatsoever.

It does in Jimbo’s case. Mediocre results throughout his entire coaching career without Jameis, and that has continued at A&M. Your fanbase is a bunch of absolute morons. It’s great that people who get into A&M apparently have relatively good grades in high school, but from an emotional and functional IQ standpoint you’re a bunch of fricking idiots

I will take a NC and two sub par seasons vs being a brides maid every years

It’s the trend…..go look for yourself.
