While I don't want him as HC, I do think he is a much better option than some on here have alluded to regarding the pass happy style of play at UNC.
Go rewatch the 2011 CUSA Championship game.

34 passing attempts
39 rushing attempts
279 passing yards
207 rushing yards

It was his defense that beat the Sumlin coached Keenum team. Cost UH of an outside shot at us which would have been a blood bath for epic proportions - we would have run over them and our defense would have shut out their sorry asses out that year.

HIs offenses really aren't pass happy. I don't know why anyone would think that.

Of all the spread coaches, he probably runs the closest thing to full balance you will find. He gets equal production in the air and on the ground.

He's a legit offensive coach, but there are definitely some things to be concerned about.

The problem with Fedora is recruiting. The fact that he's relied on JUCO transfers at USM and UNC makes me nervous about handing him the keys to the Ferrari.

It's more like a ten year old BMW in decent condition now.

He runs the Tony Franklin system. The system is very similar to what A&M runs, although they have tweaked theirs since Sumlin first got there. The problem I have with it is they are constantly in hurry up offense. Yeah you get to run more plays, but so does your opponent. I do not want us becoming a team that has to try to win 45-41 because we can't stop anyone on defense. We just need to be able to throw the ball competently. Y'all expected that was all going to change in 6 games after sucking for so many years?

When you have such bad recruiting that your class brought in on probation is rated higher than your class 2 years off of probation. There is a big problem in your ability to recruit.

And Fedora has said he doesn't care much about defense. If he wins 50-49, he's satisfied.

When has he ever said this? All he has ever said is he wants a blitz-happy, attacking defense and thinks if the offense scores every drive, his team will win.

He also brought in Chizik who is highly regarded for defense.

How about you suck my balks OR ADD SOMETHING RELEVANT TO A CONVERSATION THAT BROUGHT MEANINGFUL INFORMATION TO A CHIVKEN LITTLE FREAKNG GROUP.
Go jerk off kid!

According to a couple of posters here from NC, they run a very vanilla, read and react D with very little blitzing. Kinda like Chavis his last two seasons.
