Everybody knows everybody's offers. None of those contracts are even visible. They all say the same thing guaranteed and no clue whats left in incentives

The offers have already been made during meetings with Sexton. You don't put a proposal on paper until you get both parties agreeing on terms. That would be stupid because once it goes on paper it's no longer speculation to those that are seeking the info.
Lane already has OM's, UF's, and LSU's offers. If LSU is finalizing the contract, it's because terms have been accepted between Lane and LSU.
It doesn't mean Lane can't change his mind and it doesn't mean Florida can't come in and shoot a better shot at the 11th hour, but finalizing the deal means the discussions and negotiations have been completed at this point and the paperwork is being prepped to put pen to paper and formalize the contract.

I’ll admit he could still go to Florida but this makes zero sense. If he has to do the contract negotiations like this he’s not going to Florida. “LSU and Ole Miss offered him whatever he wanted but he wants Florida so bad that he will use whatever leverage he can to get them to match. Because Florida doesn’t want him enough to just match / beat it for some reason?” Like its way more likely it got leaked because he’s gonna take it and more people know about it because its real.

Florida is using a professional search firm and has put gag orders out for people who are connected to try to make this go as smooth as possible for everyone on the OM side. I think it's because they want to feel out him potentially coaching in the playoffs, but I just had a thought that it might be because Landry is going to finish up at OM and he doesn't want her being harassed. Could be both or could be neither of those. Idk if LSU is doing similar on the gag orders but it seems like more LSU stuff has been coming out for the past few days

Everybody is going to have insiders that portray confidence until the news breaks. Well, maybe not Ole Miss since that statement all but confirms Lane is leaving. The momentum definitely looks like lsu, though.

Florida has been a back water since 08. They also have shite facilities.
They have a lot to overcome compared to LSU where the NIL is in place and our facilities are already top notch not years away or being developed
