I don't get this hire at all.

Norvell can coach offense and recruit offensive talent but this does nothing to help FSUs discipline issues or defensive play the last three years.

Great hire for FSU. Should put together a great staff.

He ran a good program at Memphis. He has a good eye for defensive talent and a proven track record of hiring great DC’s.

Based on what? He didn't rebuild Memphis

Who said anything about rebuilding? I know I didn’t.

He took over a Memphis program that Justin Fuente rebuilt. You said he has a proven eye for defensive talent and hiring good DCs.

So again... I ask... Based on what?

I’m aware that Fuente rebuilt the program, that’s why I mentioned nothing about rebuilding in any post I’ve made about him.

Adam Fuller has done a good job this year, TJ Rushing is well regarded, Chris Ball was hired to be the HC at another program, Dan Lanning (UGA DC), Marcus Woodson (Auburn DB), Lorig (Penn St LB/ST), and more I’m sure. Not bad for Memphis.

I'm a little sad he chose Thug U Jr. as the place he wanted to step up to. Kid is only 38. If he fizzles there it's back to the drawing board for him. He'll be wealthy no doubt but knowing the kid by being around him during his college playing days he likes to win ball games.

Anyone see Norvell’s intro press conference? I’d never seen him, or heard him speak- but he sounds and looks like Jim Carrey, if Jim Carrey were trying to impersonate a football coach.

Thug U Jr fans aren't happy we hired "homey".

I guess the retards in administration wanted to equal UF with two bad hires in a row.

Maybe "homey" can find a spot shining Orgeron shoes in a couple of years when he's sent packing.
